Three weeks to go!

I do have some good news, regarding feedback/compliments. The General Manager has told me that she actually wanted to offer me a job for the summer, before school starts again. When she heard from my supervisor that I really do want to go home, she completely understood and didn't ask me. I'm honoured she wanted to have me for the summer, but my supervisor is right. It's time to go home! Well, almost.
I will spend next weekend the most Finnish way possible: I'll be going to one of my friend's summer cottage, where we will spend two days watching rally, drinking beer, going to sauna, swim in the lake, fish and grill some meat. Sounds like a perfect weekend! :) The weekend after that I will go out on Saturday with some friends, as a kind of goodbye. Which means we're probably going all out... (sorry grandma and granddad, I'll behave again after that evening!) Luckily, I have the next two days after that off, which means I can recover from my hangover ;) And the weekend after that... Well, packing mainly. Probably going out for one last dinner with Mira and Annina. Shoot, I'm going to cry...
And theeeeeeeeeeen... I can hug my love again! And see my parents! And Marlou and Koen! And my Dutch friends (well, the ones who are not on vacation... *cough* Mayke en Anneke *cough*...)!
Now it's time for the cliché. Time has gone so fast! I remember making my calendar and it started with 120 days and it seemed endless. Now there are only two rows left, a total of 22 days. Wow...
Hmm this blog is mainly about counting down. Is there anything else to tell? I'm mainly working and enjoying my time with my friends. Of course, we celebrated Juhannus (midsummer). The weather forecast wasn't that good, so we decided to just go to Mira's place, cook dinner (smoked salmon, hmmm) and drink some wine (and beer, and lonkero, and jägermeister, and some other stuff...) and have fun. Which we did! It was a great first Juhannus! Someday I would like to see the bonfires and wedding on Seurasaari, when the weather is good.
That's about it for now! I just need to finish my final internship report, work a few more days (11 days of actual work!) and do fun stuff. I guess my next (and last) blog will be written in The Netherlands again!
Love, Anouk
